AS3 Errors

AS3Errors.com was created to fill a very large niche in the AS3 development community – specifically, I’d like to make this the definitive destination to look up compiler errors. Right now googling errors is a total crapshoot – sometimes you find solutions, but more often you simply find huge forum threads from 4 years ago exploring highly specific examples that don’t really help you much.

That brings us to this site – simply search for your error code and, hopefully, you’ll find a writeup of your exact problem. I’ll do my best to explain them in layman’s terms as I understand them, and I’ll leave comments open for those who are more knowledgeable than I am to offer their input as well.

This site is currently very much a work in progress. I’ll be adding errors as I encounter them, hopefully a few per week. Feel free to leave a comment here to request insight into a specific error code and I promise I’ll get to it as quickly as I can.
